Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO)

The Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) is
a nonpartisan, nationwide, nonprofit organization of
public officials who head departments of elementary and
secondary education in the states, the District of
Columbia, the Department of Defense Education Activity,
and five U.S. extra-state jurisdictions. CCSSO provides
leadership, advocacy, and technical assistance on major
educational issues. The Council seeks member consensus
on major educational issues and expresses their views to
civic and professional organizations, federal agencies,
Congress, and the public.

National Literacy Project (NLP)

Grounded in research, the goal of the National Literacy
Project (NLP) is to improve the reading and writing success
of intermediate, middle, and high school students. The NLP
offers intensive professional development and follow-up
support that leads to improved literacy teaching and learning.

Partnership for 21st Century Skills

Public Consulting Group is a P21
Professional Development Affiliate. The Partnership for
21st Century Skills established the Affiliate Program
for organizations that specialize in providing
administrator and educator training to states, districts
and schools to infuse 21st century skills into their
existing professional development offerings. PCG-CRM's
services will include district audits, action planning
services, leadership coaching and teacher professional
development, building on the literacy and learning work
we have successfully provided for over 25 years.

Ohio Resources Center (ORC)

The Ohio Resource Center for Mathematics, Science, and
Reading (ORC), a project of the State University Education
Deans, has been funded by the Ohio General Assembly and
established by the Ohio Board of Regents. ORC provides links
to peer-reviewed instructional resources that have been
identified by a panel of Ohio educators as exemplifying
best or promising practice. Available resources also include
content and professional resources as well as assessment
and general education resources that will support the work
of pre-K–12 classroom teachers and higher education faculty
members. The resources are correlated with Ohio's academic
content standards and with applicable national content standards.

The Rural School and Community Trust (RSCT)

The Rural School and Community Trust is a national nonprofit
organization addressing the crucial relationship between
good schools and thriving communities. Our mission is to
help rural schools and communities get better together.
Working in some of the poorest, most challenging places,
the Rural Trust involves young people in learning linked
to their communities, improves the quality of teaching and
school leadership, and advocates in a variety of ways for
appropriate state educational policies, including the key
issue of equitable and adequate funding for rural schools.
