A PCG literacy consultant works with your school team to turn the Literacy & Learning Audit Recommendations and Three-Year Professional Development Plan into an effective schoolwide literacy and learning Action Plan that addresses:

School literacy teams will complete a schoolwide action planning process using PCG's Recommendations and Action Planning Template working with PCG literacy consultants who lead the action planning with the school team. The action planning process includes:

  • Selecting specific action steps to implement each recommendation
  • Identifying the lead person who will coordinate the task completion
  • Establishing a target deadline
  • Determining measures of success

Our guided action planning process is based on the Leadership Model for Improving Adolescent Literacy (Irvin and Meltzer, 2007). We help you decide how you will:
