School literacy teams will complete a schoolwide action
planning process using PCG's Recommendations and
Action Planning Template working with PCG literacy
consultants who lead the action planning with the school team.
The action planning process includes:
- Selecting specific action steps to implement each
recommendation
- Identifying the lead person who will coordinate the task
completion
- Establishing a target deadline
- Determining measures of success

planning process is based on the Leadership Model for
Improving Adolescent Literacy (Irvin and Meltzer, 2007). We
help you decide how you will:

content area classrooms
